Join Two Sisters Paint Palette for a two-day workshop where you will create three Santa Christmas ornaments from oyster shells using clay and a variety of mediums and tools! These shells were sourced just for this workshop from the East coast beaches of Southern Florida!
During the first workshop, you will sculpt the Santa faces using some fun tools as well as your artistic skills to define the small details of the face. I’ll provide instruction and tips for working with the clay and defining face structure. Because these are made with clay, it requires a dry time of at least 24 hours prior to painting.
During the second workshop we will be painting the detail and applying an antique glaze or stain to add an instant vintage look! The shells will be predrilled for hanging and a variety of ribbon will be available for hanging!
